StormKite is a free browser game in which you fly a diamond kite through storm front formations. This policy describes what data blows through when you play.
1. Information We Collect
Like a kite in a clear sky, we keep our data string minimal. We may receive:
- Standard browser HTTP headers transmitted automatically — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and referring URL.
- Your personal best storm front count, held only in your browser's local storage and never sent anywhere.
- Anonymous aggregate session statistics that cannot identify any individual kite pilot.
2. How We Use Information
We use data only to keep the storm running (maintain the game), repair snapped strings (fix bugs), and understand general flight statistics. No advertising, no profiling, no selling.
3. Local Storage
Your best flight is saved in local browser storage only. Clear browser data and it blows away — we keep no server copy.
4. Third-Party Services
Fonts load from Google Fonts via a standard browser HTTP request. No other third-party services receive your data.
5. Children's Privacy
StormKite contains no violent content, no gambling, and no in-app purchases. The kite simply comes down when it contacts a storm front. Suitable for all ages. We do not collect data from users under 13.
6. Data Retention
Server logs are kept for a limited operational period and then deleted. Local gameplay data remains on your device subject to your own browser settings.
7. Your Rights
You may have rights under applicable law to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold. Our minimal data collection limits the practical scope of such requests.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical measures to protect data we handle. No internet transmission is fully secure.

We update this policy by revising the date above. Continuing to fly means you accept any changes.
